7.social secretary : manage someone social appointment

8.inundate : to have a lot of something

9.turn down : reject something

10.busybodies : gossip about other people

#7 Studio Classroom - Leo, the Taxi Driver

1. on the outside looking in You should invite the new guy to the party instead of
                                                            leaving him on the outside looking in.


2. I have to break out of this routine.

3. That would free up some time for fun activities around the city.

4.weary : Susan felt weary at the end of a busy week at work.

5. A frantic-looking young woman pounded down the sidewalk, dodging people as 
    she ran.

6. poke : The cat jumped when the child poked it.

7. Drive! she snarled at him.

8. curb : Many cars are parked next to the curb in front of our apartment.

9. residential : Speed limits are often low in residential areas because children may be
    playing outside.
